Not keen on the $3000 price tag, most of the cars I have purchased were not that expensive. It is kind of like adding 5% to the price of a new Tahoe or Yukon...

But so darned cool, I would love to have it, but not that rich.

The price will come down a bit as other companies come out with them but probably not a lot as it comes with the bezel and such.

True, I have about one more week and after that I am out of the return policy from Crutchfield. This radio is very pricy($2500),but after owning both Kenwoods 990 and 991 models. This radio boots up fairly quickly and so far my only cons are lack of usb ports and wifi. Other than that,it has has been flawless. Both Kenwood units were returned 2x

In that install pic, the only thing I could criticize is the fact the texture is too shiny compared to the OE look. Go through all that effort for one vehicle and you can't get the texture right?

Looks OK, probably functions awesome, but... $3k. for 3K Id want it to look a lot cleaner than that.

They use matte Black, or semigloss, or trim black (whatever color you want to call it) so your finger prints do not show. Give me some tape, 3 hours masking, and 30 min using a sand blaster and I might be able to get it to look right to get rid of that shine...
