CS144 Conversion

Just replaced my 105 alternator with a 140, everything bolts up but the connector doesnt fit into the back of the alternator?

Solutions?

Thanks!

Ok so apparently i need to convert the harness to a CS144 connector. Any ideas?

you might have to go to the local electrical shop and see if they have a harness that will fit

Go to the junkyard and get the connector from a TBI truck or GM vehicle, the CS144 uses the older style connector like this, or the local parts stores usually have them for $10-$15

Do you know how to connect this into the existing harness?

When I did mine I got one from a TBI truck, it's only 1 wire so there isnt really a wrong way to wire it in, cut the old one off and solder in the different plug..it's a brown wire IIRC
