for my dual battery setup I just bought the cable that goes from the 2nd battery to the starter and ran a ground over to the 1st battery, I believe I also ran 2 cables off of the alternator one to each battery.
that is "parallel" and it doubles the amp hours and cca's
other options include using a isolator like many rv's, boats or car audio use, some are automatic and some are manually switchable.
just choose one that will meet your anticipated amperage needed.
I would love to see some pics of your dual-batt setup, too!

Tahnks!

sorry about that I tend to ramble.. the brushless fan is on the corvette which is alt limited. they are made by spal for the oem (I used a c7 zo6 one but the zl1 camaro one is said to be 900watts if I remember right) they sell aftermarket ones too straight from spal, German company I believe. good stuff. they should sell a set you can fit into your tahoe, and there's a pwc controller to run it all. idea is uses less power for the same amount of airflow, but then if you need it, will more air too.

my yukon is a oddball with no alt and a weird 3 speed fan setup using resistor packs. if it ever goes out I'll dig into some brushless for it then.
Thanks!

sure once I get the engine compartment cleaned up it's about time for me to do my semi annual engine compartment cleaning. had to take a couple long trips thru rain and snow and pretty much treaded water with it so it's due for a pressure wash.
