You really have nothing to loose if you take it back to the dealer. They either say f*ck off, or that they can take care of it. Granted it is not the most honest thing to do, but if that does not work, you can find one or two on eBay for a couple hundred bucks

OR,,, they see you're trying to screw them, make a note in the computer, and run you through the mill EVERY time you go in for something legit.

Man up. Fix the light yourself or buy a new one.

I know my service rep pretty well. you would be amazed in what they type in the comments section of their computers..... they will remember you if you try to take them for a ride.... could end up costing you alot more in the long run.. as far as someone paying 55k??? well there is a sucker born everyday.. I got mine for $28k...Karma is a *****

I agree! Honestly goes along way. The worst thing you want them to do is find the slit (which any decent mechanic will). Just the opposite also, if they screw your car up and don't admit to it how would you feel about them? They would be slammed on this board and you might be going elsewhere in the future.
