Hey guys my name is Chris of the rainy evergreen state known as Washington.
I took the plunge on Friday picked up an '05 Tahoe. Pretty cool, I've wanted one since high school; and working as an auto mechanic only sealed the deal for me.
It took a lot of shopping around and finally found "the one." I dare might call it a unicorn. 115k, 1 owner, all maintenance records, and doesn't leak oil. Most of the rigs I ran into were on their last legs -- body damage, significant steering issues, leaking out of every orifice, general neglect . That was "par" in my area. It was a bit disheartening to see so many neglected cars but I kept searching... Boy I'm glad I did.
Now I have the car of my dreams! OK not really but it's a college daily. I got pretty overloaded on the drive back with now nice these trucks are.
Just wanted to stop in and say hi! I'll probably ask a bunch of questions, answer a lot too. If anyone needs specs or diagrams feel free to message me as I have access to identifix
