AM Radio Adjustment?

Hey, audiophiles. Is there any chance we can make internal adjustments to the radio that will improve the AM signal? I seem to get a lot of static on a particular frequency, and a little on others. I only use a limited number of stations on the AM side. I have an '01 Denali.
