Amp probelm

My speakers in my truck don't work only the passenger side and the back pillars when I bang on the amp the speakers get stactic then bang again and the bass comes on but only the passenger side works and under my console there's a harnesss that goes to i don't know what but when I press down on it the speakers come on

Sounds like a loose harness. Take it off and make sure all connections are tight.

Ps you should be hitting/banging the amp. Vibration/over heating is #1 reason why amplifiers fail. And banging on it would be vibration. Lol

im with @massivespl definitely sounds like a connection problem. is that under the cup holder by chance? I have seen drink spills get in one on a caddy. cleaned all the plugs and it started working again

My amp is located in the back where my trunk is on the left hand side I hit it there's a harness in electrical tape under my console where he cup holder is at when I touch the harness my speakers come on but not all my speakers only my passenger side and rear piallars

are the lines spliced in under electric tape? sounds like a loose connection. I would pull the electrical tape off and check all the connections. if they are just twisted together I would take them apart and clean them up and redo them with connectors.
