300-400 or less, I like how MTX has the bass control knob so you can adjust it as your driving, and overall its a good setup just want it to hit a lil harder looked at some of the reviews online about the package I have and everyone says good things about it just that the amp it comes with is kinda weak and if you get a better amp they hit pretty darn good.

8 guage wire is good.. you could run a 1000+ watt amp with that wire, but most people wind up upgrading to 4 guage or so. I'm speaking from personal experience.. I'm currently running a 1250 watt power acoustic amp with 8 guage wire in my other truck and it is STRONG.. and it has remote gain as well.

while 8 gauge will work, you'd be far better off with 4 gauge...if your amp doesnt get juice, you wont see full output of the amp.

unknown at this time.
The 8-gauge would do fine. Besides the amp won't fit anything bigger on the power terminal so while you can use 4 gauge for the length of run you have to knock it down to 8 gauge when you reach the amp. Based on the amp fuse rating of 2x30amps you can can do 17ft of quality copper cable run on 8 gauge for continuous use as long as you alternator and battery can sustain the added load:)
