Looking for pics & info on the powersteps for GMT900 trucks. How they look and function. And if anyone has had issues with paint chips on the rocker panels (stock running boards seem to deflect most road debris)

Will be lifting my truck soon and like the powersteps for my kids since they come down lower, and have a large platform.

Thanks!

Is it that no one has these because everyone lowers their trucks here and just deletes steps, or are there issues with them?

One or 2 guys had them. They never reported any problems. I was going to do it but I ended installing SS side skirts, then when we had another baby so wife needed to put the oem back on. From there money went elsewhere

That's my only reservation. It seems like those who have them love em, but I've only found a handful.

I had them on my Silverado and Ram. I liked them on both trucks. The only complaint I had was on my Silverado the driver side would bind and times (usually when cold) and I would have to give it a little push up but silicone helped some.

Not many have them because of the price tag. When they first came out years ago they were problematic. But they work great now days without issues (lifetime warranty), a few of my friends have them on their lifted trucks.
I was gonna get a set but I'm going low.

I have them - most favorite thing I've done since lifting the truck. Have had for almost 2 years with zero issues. Fit n function is great and the install was easy.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm likely going to get a set. Just sold my jeep, and plans to buy a travel trailer has been delayed a year or so... I already set aside money for a lift so I figure these would be a wise addition while I have a bit of cash. Have 4 kids, oldest being 7, so theyll get quite a bit of use and I don't trust steps like nfabs for the little ones to have solid footing on.

Just needed a bit more peace of mind before dropping a grand+ on them!
