Thanks. She appears to be fine, just some bumps, bruises and soreness. CT pictures and a physician in ER cleared her and she walked back to the car. She's sore this AM.

I got nothing but praise for the 2013 Denali, from purchased new to demise. It only had 50K miles on her. No one will ever convince me that the Yukon didn't play a large part in protecting and saving her life. I have to get another vehicle as we have 2 homes, 1000 miles apart that we spends 6 months in each. The Denali was our "back-n-forth" vehicle. A newer Yukon Denali is the only choice I will make replacing it. After 10 years of retirement I just don't have $100K+ to buy a new one and I've no interest in increasing debt. I can cough up, say around $60K for a used one. There's a Local Rick Hendrick Cadillac dealership that has a 2019 "every option" AWD/4WD Frost White Tri-coat with 47K miles that they want $59.5K for. I'm heading there tomorrow AM to check it out and negotiate.

I'm in Virginia Beach and if anyone can point towards a late model Denali for $60K or less please let me know.
Glad she’s okay. This is one of the reasons why we drive these trucks.

Happy to take a look at it for you if you need eyes on it.

that is calculated by similar model regional area "sold" vehicle prices
plus pain and suffering, doctors bills, rental car cost.
plus any loss of work
also +value of any mechanical work that was performed on the vehicle in the last 12 months that is documented with receipts.
and anything that was in the vehicle that was damaged and you have receipts for., car seats are a given.
if they hesitate, add up what you think is fair and threaten to sue, because then they are also on the hook for attorneys fee's
by then you are likely at or above the max payout for the insured anyway, given it was a commercial vehicle that may be higher than a private party
insurance company's are sheisty and will not give up a dime if they are not cornered into it
As someone who works as a commercial truck driver of similar trucks unless they had full coverage on that truck and driver you usually have to sue to get a single penny.

ya that's a possibility, police report, any witness statements or dash cam video is important.
I have been in too many accidents........95% of them not my fault

I made the claim with their insurance company. They apparently have full coverage. Their adjuster is supposed to call me today for and appointment to visit the wreck.

Some picks from the towing company's storage yard. I think it'll buff out. FWIW, my wife is one tough lady!

Well... I bought a 2019 fully loaded, 4WD, Frost White Metallic Tr-coat Denali w/44K miles. I got them down to $58,500.

Update: The other truck's insurance company called me and is getting possession of the wreck. They are going to make me an offer on the 2013 and take care of all medical expenses and losses.

Last time the company I work for even had a minor accident they sued the company itself and we just settled 4 years later for $400,000 for a broken hand I guess one of the guys who doesn’t work here anymore (another reason) reversed out of a driveway at like 2 mph and the person cut around him after stopping and got hit their insurance ruled them at fault but the court ruled them a win for $400k.
