Hi there, been lurking around here for a while and thought I would post up. I bought an ’06 Tahoe Z71 last June, and to my surprise I love the damn thing. It’s the dreaded 2wd version, LOL. I have a 1993 4wd Dodge Ramcharger and bought the Tahoe for family trips and wasn’t planning on modifying it. But I liked it so much that I passed the Dodge to my daughter and started driving the Tahoe. I can’t believe how nice it is for a cash car.

It’s got 160k now on it, but runs and drives wonderfully. It's loaded with Nav, sunroof, rear buckets etc. I went through it and fixed some little things like the a/c actuators. These things are actually pretty easy to work on and the interior snaps apart like a Lego set in many cases.

As far as mods, so far I’ve done a 3” spindle lift, Method 18x9s on 34s, changed the 3.23s for 4.10s, tune. Also just installed a PPV push bar I found on Craigslist.

I’m planning on going a little bigger on the lift, and will be posting some detailed questions about that.

I’ll post up some pics as soon as I can.

Not the best pic, I realized I don't have any of the truck but I'm going to get some in the daylight tomorrow. I'm going a little higher with it in the next few weeks.

That thing looks clean. I'm digging the wheel style and stance .
Looking forward to more pics and plans.
