Hey guys new to the TYF. I have been trolling around reading for a couplse of months and decide to join. My question is what size tire and what rim offset will work with a 24" rim on a 06 yd with a 4/6 and not have major rubbing issues? I really would like no rubbing at all but I can live with a little. I was thinking about a 295 35 24 but I know the backspacing will make or break the deal. Is anybody currently running 24"s with close to the same drop or more? Oh and props to DJM Tony for the quick shipping on the TB springs and rear kit and swaybar!!!!

I think the rims I want only come 24x10. I really wanted to stay away from 30 series tires rollin on these lovely Ohio roads! Where do you think the 35 would rub on the front and rear? Possibly in locations a heat gun could cure the rub? I wouldn't be opposed to some minor plastic trimming. Will the belltech rear swaybar I got from you help? Thanks for the wisdom Tony! All the stuff I ordered showed up yesterday ( a day early!) and MAN that is a SERIOUS swaybar!! I can't wait to get it on the Nali! I will get some before and after pics for ya.

It is 30 I think. I have been using the calculator on the rimsntires.com website and with 30mm plugged in for bs on a 24x10 rim with a 285/35/24 shows no problems at all. Plus the McG spindles decreased my turning radius. Would it be safe to say that will also help the tires to not rub when making full lock turns??? Right now Im rollin factory 20's w/ 275-55's. Tires should be 31.9" tall. The 285-35's measure the same.

rims and tires goes off of stock heights not lowered.

what i would do is drop the truck with the set up that you have now then go from there.
