OK, here is one for the old timers: Got a 02 yukon with cassette deck. Works just fine. I want to hook up my daughter's ipod so she can hear some tunes on trips. Standard Delco CD radio unit otherwise, NO Aux input. In older cars, Used a cassette adapter that you put into the tape player, that had a miniplug that you can can stick into the iPod or whatever and play through the cassette deck. Works well. This adapter will not work in the Yukon player because the player has a "broken tape detector" that ejects the cassette if it thinks it has broken tape. Well, there is no tape to run over the "sensor" in this adapter, so it keeps getting ejected. Regular tapes (yes, still have some) work fine still. Any suggestions on how to bypass this feature? I don't want to spend money on this rig getting a new head unit. Thanks for any suggestions. Sorry for the long post.
