Feeling the poor output on the OEM low beams, I wanted to upgrade the bulbs and not change to any of the 3rd party HID systems on my 2016 Suburban LT to keep it simple. I got the Phillips H11 X-tremeVision which are significantly brighter and something I can live with.
The driver side was a cinch but changing the driver side low beam bulb involved taking the engine air filter box completely out and dealing with a foam panel with a cut out for accessing the bulb.
While in there, I looked below and could not find a similar cut out for accessing the high beam as I would have changed to these bulbs when everything was out.
Has anyone changed out the high beam bulbs on any of the new Suburbans with non HID lights?
