Oh yeah! Good prep us the key for sure. Could be a ****** maaco $200 paint job, but as long as it had good prep, it'll look really good, for a little while anyway.

I've been into car audio for over 25 years, since I barely knew what the difference between a woofer and a tweeter was, before then, they were all just "speakers". Started working at a small shop when I was 20, and started installing some "systems", if you want to call them that. New components in the four corners, subs in the trunk (or hatch.. yes, back in the days of "hatchbacks!" LOL!), running off a 4 channel amp and a separate sub amp. Mostly amps with 50x4 for the components, and maybe 500 watts for the subs.....

Don't have much in my Yukon XL, just needed a little low-end extension, and the factory sub just wasn't cutting it. Built an enclosure in the rear quarter panel, two 10" Powerbass subs, powered by a measly 250 watts apiece. They will take 550 watts RMS, but I already had the amp, no need for more until I find a smokin' deal.

Anybody here over 55? You might remember Harry Chapin's "Cat's in The Cradle"...
If you're about my age (46), you'd most likely remember Ugly Kid Joe's rendition:

Took the vid with my Droid Turbo 2 phone, doesn't nearly capture the impact of the low end from these two 10's. Box is about 2.8ft, tuned to approximately 30Hz.
