i need a few more years out of my denali xl.

i have rust coming on all 4 fender wells.

anybody successful at installing fender flares on a denal xl?

from the sounds of it there may be some custom plastic wor required to cut the flares before the oem cladding which id be fine doing but id like to know if anybody has done this.

i will cut out the rust. it id like to put flares over them. easier than welding.

I would think you would have to remove the Denali lower body cladding that sits over the main body panels in between the front wheel and front door panels, and then in between the backseat doors and rear wheels. And the cladding behind each rear wheel as well. Which is not hard to do from what I understand. The plastic snap grommets and then heating up the panel to loosen the adhesive and then I think it pulls free. And then I would think the fender flares would bolt on smooth.
