Anyone done any A/C Line Splicing Using These?

hey guys, new to the forum.

Have an 09 tahoe ppv with ac front and rear that has never worked. (Bought in the winter) went to charge yesterday to see if and where there was a leak. Good and bad news is that I found the leak. Had to remove the passenger rear wheel well splash guard to find there is a crack/hole in the Thinner 3/8" ac line running to my rear evaporator.

I just bought a splice kit and was wondering if any of you have used anything like this, and what you would recommend me watching out for?

I got a leak in the same spot. I just keep Charging mine up. One day its gonna not hold anything anymore and eventually gonna have to do the same

I replaced 2 of my lines going to the rear, spliced right around the rear door area. Pain in the ass getting the lines out, but those metal splices work perfect. Zero issued in 4 years.
