Anyone ever run 305-35R24 ALL-TERRAINS?

I'm in need of new tires for my 24's. I've been looking at the General Grabber UHP's but I have found that Nitto makes the Terra Grappler in the same size I'm looking at. I've had a set of Terra's before and I loved them. For the price difference I'd rather spend a little extra for a new set of Nitto's. I know that the overall sidewall and width will be the same aspect ratio but I'm wondering if the added tread depth will cause them to rub. Has anyone else had experience with these in that size? Worst case I crank the torsion keys and put a small block in the back. I really think all-terrains would set my Tahoe off.

No offense, but you realize that while your truck looks hot (very hot, actually), those tires make it completely impractical on any surface other than clean, smooth, dry pavement, right? You need some flex in your tire so you don't taco your rims, if you actually intend to use it off road, as your push bar and aux lights suggest...

I have no good advice for you. How close are the current tires to rubbing? I would guess and say light rubbing will happen

Thanks for the compliment. I wouldnt say they're impractical. I had a set before these wheels and tires and loved them, but I do see your point. The off-road days are mainly over for my tahoe, so they aren't a must-have but would come in handy where I live. Regardless its still 4wd and can get me around. I think it would look mean, but I'm 90% sure they will rub.

I'm looking for some all seasons as we speak for my 24" rims. It was hell on ice the other day trying to get this damn boat moved.

I'm thinking its just going to be cheaper to land me a paid of OEM rims with factory tires already mounted than it would be to buy 24" tires, mount them, balance them and then do it all over again come Spring. More practical to just swap rims.

Sorry for the OT, just pissy about the very small selection of tires available for 24's in 305/35/24.

True, the selection is terrible, but I sure could use ATs where I live. My last set were great around here. You never know when you'll end up having to take off through a field. Haha. I agree with the idea of an OEM set of wheels and tires. Thats why I kept mine. They've got 150k mile Michelin's on them. Why would I get rid of them?
