anyone ever

anyone ever change a torque converter clutch selenoid in their trans before? thats what the shop is saying mine needs, im jus wondering if it is a complicated job or not

easy, drop transmission pan and if you look in the front of the valvebody (close to the bellhousing) there is a soloniod that is pointing straight up into the case and it looks like a "t" when out. Its held in by two 10mm headed bolts. Remove and replace (i cant remember if you can just cut and splice the wires or just unplug the harness and re-install.)
i know its connected to the main harness in the transmission, but i do believe you can buy it seperate from the hole harness, if not, well the valvebody has to come off to get the harness out (plug in going through the case is blocked by the valvebody)
