anyone have an extra cig lighter?

I know we have a classified section for this but seriously, no one is looking to go in there to sell there cig lighter.

I want to drill a hole in the center consol and put a cigerette lighter in there so I can charge my phone without having the wire hanging out all the time. anyone have one they might have removed during a project?

you can buy aftermarket ones that just hardwire (one to 12v and one to ground) that you can mount anywhere. they shouldnt be more than 10 bucks at any autoparts store.

i never even thought to check there... I always have my phone plugged into my truck and the cord is always hanging loose. Time for a little upgrade

trust me, that cig lighter in the consol was NOT worth it.... I am not upset at all about getting rid of that truck.

the one I got at radio shack ($8) has the rubber cover etc, looks OEM-ish enough IMO that no one will ever notice it.
