I am not a fan of the rivets on the surround of the grill, I was looking for something simple and found this one on Amazon, was right about a $100 bucks, figured for a hundred it was not a big loss if I didn't like it or if it was not what I wanted. https://www.amazon.com/APS-2015-201...rd_wg=3FGKI&psc=1&refRID=WD1YQPM694GBF4CT2ZA7

I was going to paint my original grill that came with the truck that was already an optional grill, but I just hate the big GMC emblem and wanted no emblems at all, so I removed the entire grill and had my body guy paint the surround, and the fog light surrounds the color of the truck, and he had to cut out the original grill to install this one. The finish on the part is a textured powder coat and matches the black textured plastic perfectly, and looks very clean. In the last photo that was during a 890 mile road trip and there was no chipping or issues with the grill. I did end up getting a few rock chips in the lower fog light surrounds that I color matched, but that is probably going to keep happening regardless. But the grill is good. Hope this helps.
