I have a 2002 Yukon 2wd with 5.3 that has a bad body. The running gear is still low mileage so I would like to use everything on a project. Has anyone taken off the body and swapped on something else? 64-76 impala, classic pickup, classic suburban, etc.

The wheelbase is listed at 116 in which is close to a lot of large size cars. Any ideas on what vehicle would be easiest?

IMO it'd be a cooler project to take the low mileage drivetrain and swap that into the classic rather than putting the body of the classic on the Yukon frame.

A guy who lived by me a couple years back took an old tahoe frame and stuck a caddy sedan on it. Major customization. I would drop the running gear into something should be easier.
