Anyone Upgrade To Heated Seats?

Just wondering if anyone bought the GM heated seat upgrade kit? What did it run you? And Did you install them yourself?

I've been contemplating the same thing for my 09 but no one has any info on it. Someone on another forum thinks as long as you have an LT2 w/ leather the wiring provisions should be there so it's a matter of installing the new door handle with buttons (which I think involves removing the whole door panel) and likely having to remove the seats to get the seat covers off.

Best price I have found is from gmpartsdirect for $290. I've been meaning to send them an email and see if they can fax me a copy of the instructions.

My dealer wanted $635 for the kit & installation. I would of let them do it but they can't return my call and I'm sick of trying to track them down.

If its plug and play I will do definetly do it. Just need to see how the seat covers come off.
