I have been running my 4dr with stock 3.42's and 285/75R16's. Definitely feel her having a bit of a hard time hauling now. In city driving my tranny temps in the pan can get up to 210F. On the highway the tranny stays cool at around 160F. But I do have to gas a bit on inclines in OD.

My question is if you do have 4.10s how great was the improvement in performance. Did the mpg on hwy get adversely affected greatly? Right now at 70 mph I am just at 2k rpm. What rpm will I be at 70 mph with a 4.10 setup? I am pretty sure the performance jump will be significant, just wondering how this will affect my daily driveability in mixed city and hwy. Strictly hwy on a 9 hr drive to Canada I got 16 mpg at best. Mixed driving easy on the throttle I get about 12.5 mpg. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the gear calculator. Yea I read the chart on the sticky which is what is making me lean towards the 4.10s. I was just wondering if anyone had any real world experience going from my gearset up to the 4.10s and what they felt about it. And about my RPMs, I will have to double check that, I think that since I upgraded my wheels/tires my speedo is off a bit now.

Mine has 4:10's and 315/70-17 tires and at 65 mph in overdrive, I am about 1600 rpm.
