If you guys have the rear kit 5305 springs/shock extneders/autoride links lowered can you

1) turn off truck
2) disconnect both top shock sensors (not autoridel links) and tape them up (if there might be water)
2) start back up and drive for about 10 miles
3) shoot your thoughts about ride

Mine rides totally different seeing if your guys are the same.

Ok another member said also rides better once sensor is unplugged. Seems on some autoride trucks rear shocks are over compensating making it stiffer while others are fine. I need to find out the shock part numbers because seems to be affecting the 07 up trucks with auyoride only. I have resistors which keep the airpump working but overrides the valving feature that will get rid of the autoride message but want to get more fesback here.

Yeah ive been going back and fourth. I have boxes here that take the messages out and keeps the air side working im trying to figure out what exactly makes some ride great then some a little stiffer. Example mine with the plugs in and loaded to hell rides great but when i had the plugs in didnt ride as well. i took the plugs off it was a lot smoother where as others ive done with plug it its been perfectly fine.

I know there are different part numbers for the rear shocks im wondering if gm changed valving in some shocks vs others.

Ill keep you guys posted.

oh ok i thought you had autoride still in my bad. Yeah autoride shocks when you keep them unplugged soften up but the bags still work under load and lift. GRRR ill figure it out will annoy me now and its only certain part numbers.
