anyone with headers???

Anyone here have headers with a stock exhaust? if so could you PLEASE PLEASE post a video (preferably before the weekend) of what your exhaust sounds like at idle. I'm looking to get headers and already have a CAI but don't want to change out my exhaust and want to hear what it will sound like.

You can find thousands of videos you want on you tube... you will even get variety there because different rides exhaust sound different... best of luck!!!

I searched Youtube but could not find any yukon/tahoe with a good sounding video of headers (NOT OPEN) and STOCK exhaust WITHOUT cams ............... someone please help me out here.

Don't have a video but installed a set of American Racing (No Cats) on a Tahoe with stock exhaust... At idle it has a bit deeper tone, but its honestly not much louder till you step on it, then it sounds GREAT! Don't expect much difference at idle.... A tiny bit louder and deeper tone...

What's the point of headers w/ stock exhaust? Not being critical just curious.

The only power to be made in the exhaust is in the headers... Long tubes add good power, especially when you do the "No Cat" system. Like I said the truck gained 25HP from the headers alone... With a K&N, Headers, and Custom Tune this customer's Tahoe made 48HP over its basline. Thats nothing to sneeze at! I will prob do ARH headers soon on mine (but with a Corsa muffler).
