I'm going to be pulling the steering column apart to replace the multi-switch, well started to but need to get a steering wheel puller. Anyways, anything else I should be replacing in here while I got it apart? Common things that need replacing with age? Truck has 253,000 on the body. Thanks!

if u are going to drop the column I would replace the break switch while in there. it is a PIA to replace and the column being stripped would prob make it easier!

full inspection of all removed components. check you shift linkages, shaft bearings, tranny interlock, wiring and so forth.
