So i just got done installing my head lights and are the led halos on them the day lights? if so, they are not on.. any advice? What i did was i spliced each end and connected them to the positive and negative on my yellow running lights.. The way i did them was i twisted each end together and then cut a portion out on positive and negative and twisted it around it.. then i covered them up with that black tape... Could i have done them wrong? if so let me know...

Also, my day lights to begin, where not working since like the about 3 or 4 months.. Could that be it?

Would have soldered them first before taping. And in case I miss understood you, tap into the parking/turn signal lights low power circuit(should be brown wire on each socket) not the small corners ones. If the circuit you tapped into does not have its own lights working then you need to break out a multimeter and find out why.

try reversing polarity. the ones and the far corners are only on when parking lights are on and turn signal lamp is not active. Hence the alternate lighting effect when using turn signal with headlights.

Yup, leds are polarity sensitive, so if they don't work just switch the wires around.

i did that on one side and nothing.. and i switched them over to the other ones and nothing.. i will have to work on them tomorrow afternoon.. Would it be good if i went and got that chip that controls all my lights under the dash board replaced and get those claps that work to connect to the running light/parking light wires? Cause what i did notice was that when i turn on my truck and none of my lights are on, shouldnt the parking light be one even if you don turn the nob over to turn ur lights on? If so, my running lights are off and dont come on unless i turn the lights on...

Also, If i get those clamps to splice the wire, if i use electrical tape to cover up where i have splice the running lights open, would i be fine or no?

On OBS suv the low beam headlights are the running lights. I think you need to solve your existing electrical problems first before going any further with the halo lights.

Thats exactly what im tryng to do first cause i know i installed them right... so i will have to find out exactly whats the problem cause the sensor under the dash by the radio should be fine cause my light that indicates my head lights are working is on so that should be fine.. Im really thinking its the chip module or relay that ur talking about thats located under dash on left side of cluster thats giving me the problems.. and that might also solve the problem by my right tail light blows up every year or so...
