ar15 mount?

since some of our yukons were police trucks at some point i was wondering where i could pick up a rifle mount? the ones that bolt it in between the front seats

they dont have any i like i want.......i want a upright mount that holds the rifle close to the dash

Good luck with that one. I dont believe that style is made any longer. Best you can do is get one being currently made and then modify it to what you want specifically. Personally, I think you are asking for unwanted attention with that type of mount. Also, keep in mind your state and local laws regarding the transportation of firearms in motor vehicles.

im in co so im fine there i do a lot of coyote hunting on my property so its mainly for that

didnt the police use an upright mount like that in there crusers/trucks?

They used to but it is more functional and practical as an upright mounted to the partition between the front and back seats. If you want something that is dash mounted or mounted close to the dash you are gonna pretty much have to fabricate one from nothing or take and existing mount and modify it. There are interior roof mounted racks as well.

that makes sense i guess there laptops are mounted where the rifles used to be.....im gonna have to keep looking around te junkyards for a police car to grab one out of
