Are Escalade EXT and Avalanche seats the same?

Does anyone know if the front buckets, 2nd row 40/60 Katzkin seat cover package for a 2006 Avalanche fits a 2006 Escalade with the same seat configuration?

I'm an upholstery shop. If you want, I can help. The seats are the same. The avalanche has fold down rears. Is it an escalade ext? I can get you a kit for less than katzkin too.

Does anyone know the best replacement seat foam is? I have at least three I want to do; they are all heated seats as well.

Thanks for the imput. I'll keep you in mind. Where are you located? I'm in S. MS, near Biloxi. The build is up in N. AL. I'm not sure right now how soon I'll get to the upolstery.The builder has been down with COVID for two weeks.

Mine is a base 06 Escalade with a 40/60 2nd row seat. I have access to 2nd row buckets, but decided to stay with the bench style since I'm omitting the third row.

I spoke with Katzkin again and they referred me to Leatherseats.com who was a bit more helpful, but there is an issue with them as well. Their 06 Escalade kit is for 2nd row buckets only. Leatherseats told me some of the hardward on the Avalanche 2nd row bench is different from the bench seats in Tahoes, Yukons and Escalade Base model. Apparently they fold down different. I asked about using their GMC or Tahoe kit which offers the option of a 2nd row 40/60 bench. He said he thought it would work but would need to do some research. He also suggested I contact two different installers they use in my area to see if they have practical experience of using the Yukon/Tahoe kit with an Escalade. Spoke to both. One said yes they are the same. The other pulled schematics and verified the second row 40/60 on the 06 Yukon is the same hardware and cushion shape as an Escalade. So, after a few phone calls, problem resolved! Incidentally, both installers had high praise for the quality and workmanship of Leatherseats.com.
