Are kick panels worth it?

Has anyone moved their speakers to the kick panels? Wondering how much difference it makes in the sound.

I've already moved my tweeters to the dash, so now I'm looking for something new to tweak. :)

It all depends on the quality of speakers. Kick panels are cool and I have had them in a few vehicles but speaker quality makes all the difference in the world...

I'm doing pretty well on speakers. I have Focal 165VR's in there now, but might change them out for some Hertz HSK165's. The Hertz will be here Friday, so I'll get to check them out soon to compare.

if you want SQ then kicks are a good way to go. they focus the sound more towards you and the pass rather than straight at your leg or seat in the stock locations. you could get some nice door pods made also that'll do the same as kicks would. just my 2 cents...

I think you wont see 'huge' gains in performance. Looks, yes. Chances of kicking them, for sure.

I've wondered about door pods to angle the mids up towards me. Since the pods are built into the door panel, how does the pod seal to the actual door?
