are the nnbs and bbs front diffs interchangeable

as title states are the nnbs and nbs front diffs interchangeable. I think i have bad carrier bearings in my front diff. i have found a nnbs front diff for $500 with 24 miles on it. i would like to swap it out instead of having a shop rebuild mine.

Depends if it's AWD or not, the AWD diff is different because it doesn't have a axle disconnect. also make sure the ratio is the same. $500 is a good price because I spent $450 to have mine rebuilt.

I just want to be clear when i wrote diff i mean the whole assembly case and all. i just want to pull mine out an put a new one in and be done. i just got done changing my fluid and there was alot of metal on the magnetic bolt. so i will need to replace the unit.
