Are these LEDs legal to use?

So far I have been thinking it is illegal to change the 9006 bulbs in my Denali against LEDs.
While I was looking for new Philips bulbs this item popped up:

In the questions and reviews several users claim they are legal to use. Is that true?

I don’t want to do anything that might get me in trouble with the police but if it is legal I am tempted to give my low beams an upgrade.

Legality is not a question I'm going to answer.

HID's in regular housings don't work because the filament (Part of the light that makes light) doesn't match where it is in the OEM bulb. That makes the light go where it shouldn't like the person in the oncoming lanes eyes. These look like the LED is placed where the halogen filament would be.

If you go onto youtube and check out LED Headlight shoot out or something like that they'll give you a biased review but its a good watch.

I just put LEDs in my DRLs and I'm loving them. I'm lucky enough that one of the previous owners put a HID retrofit kit in so I'm running 4300k HIDs for my lows.

You can use them if you think they will be better for you, but if you want to hear and have a pro opinion, hids are a lot better. Those leds only give you glare and no good light output. We have a really good comparison bettew ebay/amazon leds vs our leds vs ebay/amazon hids and our hids. Very informative content you need to look at.
