I was under the impression these were OEM boards for the 09 z71 Tahoe, but after doing some research I can’t find them anywhere. Anyone with info would be much appreciated. Came off 09 z71 Tahoe. They do look factory, just haven’t looked for markings yet.

those "appear" to be factory brackets, the running boards would either be for a pickup or z71, if they are oem there should be a
part number stamped somewhere

This is an old post but I thought it was still a good place to chime in. So like a good member I looked up past posts to see if I could answer my question. I found this post from 2022 but didn’t find an Answer.

So I have original running boards on the 2011 z71 Tahoe. The plastic part are both cracked and still work but I want to replace them. The parts # are both 25804637 (passenger Side) and 25804636. (Drivers side). The passenger is hard to find but I did order one. The drivers side is discontinued. Would love any link to a place that still had the drivers side. Anyone have an intact part to sell would be great. If you have a part/s that works that are different then the original OEM part I’m open to suggestions.

Thank you.

Ken

The Z71 plastic is slippery despite the aggressive pattern. I was considering to weld some sort of grating on top after removing the cracked plastic, but that doesn't help back passengers who usually end up stepping on the rounded steel tube and slipping! IMO the Z71 boards were made for 'style' and are terrible in every other way. I'm a fan of the standard running boards. I have extra Z71 running board parts in the backyard still, but the plastic is cracked too. If you want spare brackets/tube/endcaps, they're yours! (Otherwise I am putting them out for curbside trash pickup)
