arm rest removal

Hey guys i have seat covers i want to put on my old leather seats in my 96 tahoe. I cant remember how to remove the arm rests. can someone remind me how?

thom, i think there is a clip if you push in around where the arm rest comes out of the side of the seat. i haven't done it myself, but i think that's the way.

you will have to take the back off the bottom seat the two bolts
then push the leather towards the top of the seat then move the
cushion out the way to get to the arm rest shaft there is a clip at

the end of it that needs to come off then pull it out it will be a pain
to put that clip back on it.
