Shouldn't these shocks always have a little air in them, even when not towing or carring a load? Right now unless I have a load the shock bags are empty. When I first start it up the compressor runs filling them but without a load they deflate. Also the compressor is new.

On my 07 escalade the bags are always firm to the touch maybe you have a slow leak.

I'm pretty sure they are toast. The pump quit last month and I think it did because the shocks are done. The place I bought the yukon from have been stand up so far by replacing the pump, but I told them that the shocks were the real problem. The new pump is just going to burn out again.

On your escalade, are they firm even after sitting over night?

Got the dealer I bought the Yukon from to agree that the shocks are bad. they are going to replace them at no cost like the compressor. :rocking:

lucky man...the shocks and compressor at dealership run about $2k if you were paying the bill yourself!

it's an independent dealer but so far they have been very good about correcting the problem. They are using Arnott for the replacement parts.
