Auto Headlight sensitivity

I've noticed recently that the auto headlights take forever to go from "night" mode to "day" mode. Ill pull out of the garage on a overcast day and the light stay on a very long time..sometimes they don't turn off at all. I find this very annoying having all the dash displays dim etc..just wanted to know if this is the norm or something I need to address when bringing the truck in for service?

Yep, normal. They switch to headlights "on" quickly, but are slow to switch back. Probably a safety thing, making sure that they font switch off too soon.
