I've got an 07 Denali xl. The air compressor *** gotten very loud over the last few months and finally stopped working. I picked up a new compressor and after after installing now it still doesn't work. I swapped the 2 fuses but no change. The new unit came with new dryer beads. When reinstalling the old dryer on the new pump, it seemed to screw on extremely easy, so I don't know if this could be an issue. The new pump did not have a harness so I had to cut and splice the 4 wires. It looks like there is power on both sides of the harness but don't know if there is something I'm overlooking. I had to big guys standing on the bumper. Any help would be appreciated.

why did you need a compressor with a harness? The new one should have plugged right into the old harness
The new compressor did not have a harness end. it was four bare wires so I had to cut the old harness end off of the old pump. that's all I meant by the wiring harness reference.
