Autocal questions

I apologize in advance if these questions are stupid. So, my brother got a driving tune done last year and bought the autocal. Everything was fine until he put the stock tune back in and took the truck to the dealership. Now he can't find the performance tune. We just downloaded V7 and V8 of Efilive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you need both versions right now. My questions are 1) where are the tune files located - i believe they are in Efilive explorer but want to be sure and 2) how do you send the files - I tried copying them from Efilive explorer and pasting them in an email but that didn't work.

Any input would be appreciated.

Someone from BB can send you the tunes again I'm sure. They should just be in an e-mail. The whole system was confusing to me so I just said to hell with it and left whatever tune I have on there

Thanks - Yeah, everything was fine until we had to take it to the dealer and pull out the tune. Now I just need to figure out where it is, if it's even still on the autocal.

Unless they were deleted for some reason, they should all still be in folder "My documents/EFILive/V7.5/bins".

If everything is setup right they should now be under V8/tunes if you cannot find them there or in the old "bins" go back to the EFILive website and reread the download instructions for V8 again...I know that they are kinda confusing and hard to follow, so maybe a step was missed or misunderstood. Your tunes should still be there...worst case as stated above BBP can send you them via email.

I got the last files from Justin a couple months ago and had to update the software on my laptop before I could upload it. Everything is still in V7.5/bins. Still, the files shouldn't be tough to find.

I appreciate the input guys. I actually went to the EFILIve website last night and realized that I had to perform a few updates. I think I have everything set up correctly. The truck was orginally tuned in June 2011, so I don't think V8 was out yet. I did find a bunch of files in the V7.5/Bins folder. I also have 2 tunes in the Tunes>Read folder within EFILive Explorer. I think now it's just a matter of finding which tune is the correct one. I haven't heard back from BB yet, but I'm hoping they can just send me the tune and I should be good to go.

BBP resent the tunes to me and I was able to successfully flash them. Thanks everyone for the help.
