Automatic headlight sensitivity

Is there an adjustment to the lights. None of my trucks come on automatic until it is really dark. The older cadillac cars had adjustments right on the switch but I have not found any way to adjust them on the trucks.

I found the sensor is on the dash and putting some tape over it will make them come on quicker.

i want what you have. I feel mine are really sensitive and come on to quickly. Like sitting under a shade from a tree too long.
