I have read a lot about how to fix the autoride system on the Yukon once you have replaced the shocks with normal ones, does anyone have the best way to make the light on the console go off?? I have heard about disconnecting the battery and pulling the RTD fuse, and also heard about putting a resistor in. what size resistor. just bought this and I live it hate the light, im new here so forgive me if im all over the place with questions. thanks

Well, becuase you already have the light, the normal method might no work. Normally you would:

Pull battery cable
Pull RTD fuse
Unhook/remove OEM
Replace with non-autoride shocks
Reconnect battery cable

But because you already have the light, I'm not 100% sure that if you just unhook the battery, remove RTD fuse, wait 10 minutes, reconnect battery... If that would clear the "code" thats making the light come on.

I`m about to do the swap to normal shocks, I`m just waiting on the resistors to come in the mail.

Those are the ones i ordered.

I researched a bunch of threads on this site and some guys had problems with their air conditioning blowing hot after pulling the fuse and also had steering issues because that fuse also controls some steering assist that i can`t remember the exact name and what it does.

Others have said that pulling the fuse had no affect on anything but the resistors are simple to install and very cheap so that`s why i chose that route.

This has info on how to wire the resistors if you choose to use them.
