Back Up Camera Mirror..

Does anyone know if i get the GM mirror with the backup camera built in if i can just plug in it on a 08 Tahoe? Or do you need to get a new wiring harness for the mirror.

pretty sure you need a whole new wiring harness to make it compatible.

Little pricey. Think I will buy in indash instead. Just e-mailed company to check if they have make one without onstar and that has temp/compass.

I think they all have onstar and they moved the compass and temp to the DIC for 09 so none of them are going to have that.

Gentex probably makes over a hundred mirrors with diffrent combinations of functions and features.

Anyone know if you can display temp on an 08" guage cluster with some techII programing? Same gauge cluster in 08 and 09 Tahoes correct?
