Since the motor swap i get this nasty clunk under my feet..i feel it over bumps, sometimes when i accelerate or decelerate etc..

i checked every bolt like 10 times..all bellhousing bolts are tight, trans xmember bolts are tight, motor mount bolts are tight, all suspension is tight, balljoints are fine, tie rods are fine, sway bar fine..im at a loss..its prolly nothing major, but it just bugs the shit outa me..any ideas would be great..thanks

Not major but annoring right.
Since the envine mounts wer checked, check the body mounts.
These SUVs sometimes have body mount issues that cause that weird noice to be made in various places, especially the front end.

Did you put new headers and crossover pipe? I would bet the exhaust is closer to the bottom of the truck and when you excell, your motor torques and it hits the bottom of the truck. Same with bumps ect. Or header flanges

I was going to offer the same advice as hyde. Check the y-pipe/cats/headers, or whatever you have exhaust wise.

same exhaust set up i was running..

i can feel it on both sides of the truck with my feet, but more on the drivers side..its gotta be something in the suspension because on bumps in the city and such its so bad, but on the interstate ive never felt it once..

I would still say check the exhaust, seen it many times doing exactly what you are mentioning....But I could be wrong

When mine did that the cross-member that holds the back end of the torsion bars was loose from the frame.

i think i figured it out..the LCA bushings are pretty worn out so i think they are clunking..if i can make it til spring, im going to rebuild the front end with spindles, BJ's, tie rods, pitman/idler, and new control arm bushings..should be a new truck after that
