all the grill parts, hood latch, shutters and etc wont add up to a lot, if the radiator support is not bent too bad you can try pulling it back, doing the labor yourself and shopping for some used parts you can tuck a chunk of that check in your pocket.

I had a close call with a Doe this morning. All I was thinking is I don’t need anymore coffee this morning. Glad your ok. Last time I hit a deer it was considered “act of God” by the insurance Co. I was able to get my car fixed even though I wasn’t carrying collision coverage. If you have time to replace the parts you can always have shop paint it.

There should be a way to turn on a silent to you, like a high pitch dog whistle, noise that scares them away from the front of a moving vehicle.

There is, truck stops sell these little stick on high pitched whistles that only animals and some kids or adults can hear which alerts them to you coming. Used them when I used to drive a truck, never had any run out in front of us. There was this moose in downtown Pittsburgh one night but that's another story!

Had a coworker hit a Moose in Maine. Luckily he was in a Cube truck so the Moose stayed outside of the truck. You hit them with a car and all you do take the legs out and they are coming in on top of you. Maybe if you had a TR7 you could make it.
