I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3. It started honking the horn and flashing the lights when I was driving all by itself. Then it started not turning over after it sat overnight and it would take a while for it to start. Next all of a sudden no more firing up it eventually stop starting. Does anyone have any ideas?

Are you getting any codes or lights? If not start with the easier option and check your battery and all grounds. They make our trucks do crazy things.

Misfire codes, traction control code, and a couple others. Is there a good place to look to where all my ground wires are?

The misfire codes will trip the traction control code, so ignore the TC code for now.

Pull the PCM connectors and inspect the terminals for water migration and contact issues.

Main grounds are rear of left head to firewall; follow the battery ground to near the starter on the passenger side down low; I think there is also one on the driver's side of the radiator that might also come from the battery. Two more small ones under the driver's door hinge, on the body mount that is right behind the left front tire.

(I asked the mods to move this thread to the 2007 forum -- and they did)
