in the base model/work truck tahoes, is the wiring under the carpet for power drivers seat even though they came with manual seats on both sides? i need to know asap! i've got a chance to pick up a really nice seat but the drivers side is power and i'm not sure how to make it work if the wiring is not already there for me.

You could also wire it yourself. When I had Escalade leather seats in mine before they got tore up when they broke in and ripped the driver side with the broken glass I wired the heated seats up with a blank spot in the fuse panel. Looked factory. Like Atomic said just get them and see if you can make it work.

i'm going to get them. if there is no plug under the carpet i should be able to just run power to the fuse box and ground to the seat bolt i think?
i'll have to figure out a way somehow because these are way too clean to sell!

will, i'm gonna say that you could probably do just that if you don't have the wiring for the seat. but i wouldn't be completely surprised if you do have the wiring underneath the carpet. it's probably cheaper for them to make one generic harness than it is for them to make 4 different ones. i've been wrong before, so it wouldn't be my first time, but i'd give it a look and see. may be lucky.
