Battery died twice!!

Hey guys, I have a 09 ltz tahoe and the only mods besides the wheels are HID lights and a superchips power programmer. For the second time in a month my truck just wouldn't start. After the first time I had the electrical system looked at and it was decided that I needed a new alternator so I got one. About three weeks later it happened again! Could either the programmer or the HID lights be causing me problems? Please help if anyone has any experience with this problem, it's driving me crazy!

To properly pinpoint the problem, you need to perform a current draw test and isolate the circuit drawing the juice off your battery. There are many components in your vehicle that can cause this.

Mine does this exact thing about once a month. I have to put a trickle charge on it.

It's probably a weak battery. I went through the same hurdles as you. If the battery is 3+ years old invest in a new one. I changed mine and had no problems since.

These trucks have days when they want to draw while down and days not. A good battery is important as good tires.
