Battery isolator

Do I really need one I never listen to my sound when my truck engine is off. I already have a second battery in but my lights still go dim when my subs hit those low notes.. Thanks fellas

I would get one , I'm running a yellow top just for my amp (1000.1 jL , 2 13.5 w6) with an isolator and my lights never dim out not even a hint of it . My deck is wired to my stock battery .
