Battery Saver Active

I’ve been facing this problem on my 2016 tahoe LT2 for the past 2 years now
While im driving or im parked i get this message on my DIC
“battery saver active”
I’ve changed my alternator
I’ve changed my negative battery cable

But still facing this problem

are you sure it's a problem - these trucks are equipped with battery rundown protection - maybe it's doing what it is supposed to.

True but I would not think it should come on while driving unless the alternator was bad or the battery was. I do not see a bad battery lasting 2 years either without failing to start the vehicle. It would have at some point became too weak.

That's my point- if it's been going on for two years with no adverse effects maybe it's not a problem. The alternators in these trucks only charge the battery until full - and then stop the charging process - unlike in the old days when if the belt was turning the alternator was charging - this is also part of the battery saver feature to prevent overcharging. Maybe it's simply another thing that gets shown in the DIC read out area on newer trucks. The readout does not say repair or service soon - it says info - kind of like when it shows v4 or v8 mode. Not to mention this truck is in Kuwait where programming may be a little different.

My 2016 Tahoe has never shown it. I know they only charge as needed. The only time battery saver has ever came up for me is when sitting with the engine off listening to music while watching ball practice. I have never had it come on when driving. Ive had a failing battery cause a no start in which the truck said what the issue was but it wasn't a battery saver message. Id lean more still having a bad ground or whatever circuit is used to monitor voltage for the warning has a fault.

weird in the video it is on the positive cable but on our trucks it goes on the negative cable

I did everything also the dealer says nothing wrong with your vehicle but it still comes like every time i drive the car for the next 30 or 45 minutes

I've never had that message occur. You may be on a scavenger hunt, checking every connection and every cable's resistance, including grounding straps, (fuse block as well) - Not fun.
