Wow, things do change when you leave a while then come back. I hope to stick around a little better now. Mid-summer, all hell broke loose at work and I became a relative unknown in normal society, and things are now starting to slow down a bit. But with all that, I have managed to do some things to the Yukon.
Got it dirty. That pic is on the North Slope of Alaska this summer.
'nother dirty pic, this one from the fabled Stampede Trail, the one Chris McCandless walked down to his eventual fate. I didn't make it to the bus
Did some mods, did the brake upgrade (sooooooo worth it! night and day difference)
New driving lights, the old one's had had their day.
Reverse lights, they do great, and the LEDs allow me to run them from the factory wiring, so there's no switches to worry about.
And cab lights I've always dug the look of cab lights so I finally decided to do it.
And last-but-not-least, I had a grill cover made to help keep the engine warm in the Alaskan cold (no pics yet)
That's the story of me and my truck the past few months in a nutshell. Good to be back.
